DAYS SELOUS TREKKING EXPEDITION

DAY
1:
Leave Nairobi by air
for Dar-es-Salaam ("heaven of peace"). On arrival at Dar-es-Salaam the
group shall be picked up and transferred to a beach hotel. Dinner and
overnight.
DAY
2:
Early morning the group
shall be transferred to the harbour for a fast boat trip to Zanzibar;
transfer to hotel, afternoon Zanzibar tour and overnight.
DAY
3:
Morning transfer to
Dar-es-Salaam by a fast boat for a Bagamoyo day tour. Late afternoon  drive
to Dar-es-Salaam. Overnight at beach hotel.
DAY
4:
Early morning drive
for Selous to start an afternoon walking safari through Selous Forest.
Overnight at campsite.
DAY
5:
Walking Safari from
Selous Forest to Behobeho per *daily schedule and overnight at campsite.
DAY
6:
Walking safari from
Behobeho to Hot Spring Selous per daily schedule and overnight at campsite.
DAY
7:
Walking safari from
Hot Spring to Manze Selous per daily schedule and overnight at campsite.
DAY
8:
Walking safari from
Manze to Siwando Selous per daily schedule and overnight at campsite.
DAY
9:
Walking safari from
Siwando to Rufiji Kindai Selous per daily schedule and overnight atcampsite
(Boat Excursion on Kindai).
DAY
10:
Walking safari from
Rufiji Kindai to Stieglers Selous per daily schedule and overnight at
campsite.
DAY
11:
Walking safari from
Stieglers and Sumbazi Selous per daily schedule and overnight at campsite.
DAY
12:
Walking safari from
Sumbazi to Ruaha - confluence Selous per daily schedule and overnight
at campsite.
DAY
13:
Walking safari from
Ruaha back to Stieglers Selous and overnight at campsite.
DAY
14:
Morning drive to Dar-es-Salaam
transfer to a beach hotel, relaxation and overnight.
DAY
15: Transfer
to Airport for flight back to Nairobi. Evening at leisure then proceed
to Carnivore for farewell dinner before being transferred to the airport
for homebound flight.
*Walking
distance - daily schedule shall cover 15-20 km. Morning from 06.00 hours
- 10.00 hours. Luncheon and relaxation. Afternoon from 15.00 - 18.00 hours.
Dinner at 19.00 hours
