5 DAYS TARANGIRE/NGORONGORO/MANYARA
TCT 06

DAY 1:
NAIROBI - ARUSHA - TARANGIRE
DISTANCE: 280 KM (7½ hrs) Early morning drive to the south. Go through customs and immigration at the border town of Namanga. Continue south to Arusha for lunch. Proceed for a two hour drive to Tarangire game sanctuary. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

DAY 2:
TARANGIRE - KARATU
DISTANCE: 150 KM (3½hrs) 06.30 hours: Early morning game drive in this northern elephant sanctuary. Back to campsite for breakfast. 10.00 hours: Further game drive. Lunch at campsite. 13.30 hours: After lunch proceed to Karatu campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3:
NGORONGORO
Start after breakfast with picnic lunch for a full day game viewing on the crater floor. Amongst the animals that are to be seen are lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes and rhino. Leave in the afternoon for your campsite for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4:
KARATU - LAKE MANYARA
DISTANCE 60 kms. (2 hrs) 08.00 hours: After breakfast leave Karatu Campsite for Lake Manyara, on arrival proceed on a game drive. Lunch at the campsite. 15.30 hours: Proceed after Lunch for a further game drive in search of tree climbing lions, buffalo, hippo, elephants and giraffe in this reknown bird watchers paradise. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5:
LAKE MANYARA - ARUSHA
DISTANCE: 130 kms. (2½ hrs) 08.00 hours: After breakfast leave Manyara for Arusha arriving in time for lunch. Early afternoon sightseeing in the town of Arusha is followed by transfer back to Nairobi.
